HAUS OF BRAIDS is an online directory connecting clients in the United Kingdom with independent braiders and hairstylists who offer mobile (home-visit) services. HAUS OF BRAIDS is not the provider of any styling services. All services are performed by independent braiders who are solely responsible for the work they carry out.

3. Verification Programme
The HAUS OF BRAIDS "Verified" badge confirms that we have reviewed a braider's submitted identity documents (photo ID, proof of address, and a selfie holding ID). Verification is an identity check only. It does not guarantee skill level, conduct, character, criminal record, or service quality. Verified status may be revoked at any time without notice.

- Treat clients with respect and maintain professional hygiene standards.
- Indemnify HAUS OF BRAIDS against any claim arising from their services.
5. Client Obligations
Clients agree to:
- Provide a safe, clean environment for the braider's visit.
- Pay agreed fees directly to the braider in line with arrangements made.
- Treat braiders with respect and maintain a safe working environment.
- Carry out their own due diligence before booking, regardless of verified status.
6. Data Protection & Documents
Verification documents are stored in a private, encrypted bucket with strict access controls. Only the document owner and the HAUS OF BRAIDS verification team can access them. Documents are reviewed solely for identity verification and are never shared with third parties or other users. You may request deletion of your documents at any time by contacting us.
7. Bookings & Payments
HAUS OF BRAIDS operates an inquiry-based discovery and messaging platform. Braiders pay a membership subscription and an optional one-time verification fee as outlined on the Pricing page. HAUS OF BRAIDS does not take commission on appointments and does not process, hold, or release client payments. Clients pay braiders directly using the braider's preferred payment method, and all financial and service arrangements are strictly between the client and braider.
